by William Kilpatrick FrontPageMagazine.com Although many won’t admit it, we are in the midst of an ideological war with Islam. And since the advantage goes to the side that fully realizes they are at war, the West is losing. The propaganda war is going in favor of Islam precisely because the West doesn’t realize it […]

Last month, I wrote a PJM article dealing with some of Islam’s “problematic” practices, specifically those attributable to the Muslim prophet Muhammad. One of these — the Muslim phenomenon of “adult-breastfeeding,” or rida’ al-kabir — is making headlines again, precisely three years to the day since it last created controversy in (and inevitable mockery of) the Islamic world.
Such were the words that opened my testimony to Congress. One year later, none other than President Obama’s top counter-terror adviser, John Brennan, has come to to personify the approach I warned against, that is, the misguided phenomenon of westernizing Islamic concepts.
by Michael Haltman The Examiner Dhimmi: The status of non-Muslims under Muslim rule The article, “What Did You Say About Muhammad?!” written by Raymond Ibrahim, points out in no uncertain terms that there is a large price to be paid by the United States and other countries who appease one faith, while allowing the carte blanche […]
Which is more likely to elicit an irate Muslim response: 1) public cartoons of the Muslim prophet Muhammad, or 2) public proclamations that Muhammad was a bisexual, sometime transvestite and necrophile, who enjoyed sucking on the tongues of children, commanded a woman to “breastfeed” an adult man, and advised believers to drink his urine for salutary health?
David Horowitz Freedom Center’s Santa Barbara Retreat FrontPageMagazine.com [Excerpt of Victor Davis Hanson’s speech transcript] […] In 2009, as you know, there were more terrorist attempts, plots uncovered, in any year since 9/11. So we do know that all of the Al Arabiya interview, the myth making in Cairo in June where an Islamic pedigree […]
Will the recent killings of al-Qaeda leaders Abu Omar al-Baghdadi and Abu Ayub al-Masri have any tangible effects on the “war on terror”? Vice President Joe Biden — who referred to the slayings as “devastating blows to Al Qaeda in Iraq” — certainly seems to think so.
If the same exact criticisms being made against Islam today were also made centuries ago, is it reasonable to dismiss them all as “Islamophobic”— that is, as “unfounded fear of and hostility towards Islam,” as theCouncil on American Islamic Relations would have it?
