On June 20-21 , Coptic Solidarity held its tenth annual conference in Washington, DC. I moderated and participated in a panel titled “Radical Islamic Institutions in Egypt: Can They be Reformed?” My co-panelists were Sheikh Mohamad Tawhidi — more popularly known as the Imam of Peace — a leading Muslim reformer and outspoken critic of Islamic intolerance, and Brother Rachid, arguably the world’s most famous Muslim apostate to Christianity.
