McCain and the Caliph?

Did Senator John McCain meet with and possibly even support the current leader of the Islamic State known as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi — who was released from a U.S. detention camp in 2009?

Consider the above picture. Is the man circled in red in a 2009 meeting with McCain and other Islamists, al-Baghdadi? Compare to the frontal picture in a beige shirt, which is a known picture of al-Baghdadi before the full beard.

This same figure appears in the infamous picture below of McCain standing in the midst of known Islamic terrorists and kidnappers in Syria.
